CAP AND TRADE PROTEST

Does anyone know if there is going to be a protest in Kansas City today over this POS legislation the House passed yesterday?

FALLOUT AT F4

I joined the F4 blogsite a couple of months ago. Not too long after I joined I was asked by F4 to "audition" to be a featured political blogger on the site. I did audition and I was accepted. F4 wanted to promote their new site and asked me if I would like to do a promotional interview. I said yes and on March 31, 2009 Tess Koppelmann and her cameraman John (both extremely outgoing and personable people) came to my home and interviewed me for nearly half an hour. The interview aired that night and the next day.

Suddenly last week, without any advance notice, my blogs stopped showing up on www.KansasCitysBestBlogs.com. I contacted Webmaster Rebecca Sapakie at F4 and asked her why. I received an explanation which involved an RSS feed that wasn't working properly. They have taken several days now and still have not restored my blogs - oh, they still show up on the site but no longer in the featured blogs section.

I believe that a webmaster shouldbe able to restore an RSS feed pretty handily. I have tried a couple of times to contact the webmaster to see what progress they were making with restoration of the RSS feed but have not had a reply.

I can only conclude that someone probably complained about the content of my Conservative blog and because of that I have been cut off without any explanation.

That, folks, is CENSORSHIP!

A NEW COALITION

Much has been said and written about the Tea Parties which took place in this country on April 15, 2009.

Liberals have denounced us as a bunch of government hating Neanderthals who could not put a paragraph together if our lives depended on it.

Republicans have speculated that we might help breathe new life into the GOP.

The media have written us off as a bunch of gun toting rednecks.

I attended two of these events on that day and I say we are not necessarily any of the above.

We are, first and foremost, Americans who love our country. Most of us were tired of government bailouts, profligate spending, an unresponsive Congress, and ILLEGAL immigration before George Bush ever left office. Most of us were already tired of our government's inability to corner and catch Osama bin Laden.

I don't think any of us really want to be co-opted by the Democrat or Republican party. We would like to point out the direction this country needs go in.

We need lower taxes and less spending. We also need more freedom. We need for our borders and ILLEGAL immigration to be controlled.

The Republican party needs to drop it's policies of exclusion. I could be a Republican but I am pro-choice so I don't fit in. I could be a Democrat but I believe in property rights, American exceptionalism and pulling your own load so I don't fit in there either. There are many ways that I don't fit into either party so I am an Independant and have no party.

At the Tea Parties I saw many people who are like me. We are patriots, we are Americans, we love freedom, we want a government but only so much of it. We want to be able to enjoy the fruits of our labors but we don't mind sharing with our fellow man as long as he is willing to do his part.

At the Tea Parties I saw young and old, rich and poor, Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Independant and Conservative, black, white, red, brown and yellow but most of all I saw Americans who were ready for some real change.

That's who we were and that's who we are!

TEA PARTIES

We held "Tea Parties" all across the nation on April 15, 2009. Look for more, many more! This movement is far from over. We are going to continue to hold tea parties and rallies until this nation comes back to it's senses!

Certain people have to get the message and begone from the national scene such as Janet Napolitano, Tim Geithner, Jeaneane Garofalo. These folks are victims of a Liberal Indoctrination in our school system and have no place in American Politics.

I haven't blogged on this site in several months but you are going to hear more and more and more from me as we count down to the 2010 elections and then to the 2012 election.

I will be blogging on this site until we rid this land of Infectious Liberalism - until our children can get a decent education in our public schools and small business has an excellent opportunity to flourish in this country!
